December is here, it started snowing in Stockholm two days ago and my boyfriend is finally home after spending 10 weeks a part from each other. I love this time of year, not so much the cold, but the christmas lights, christmas songs, yummy treats, happy people, family time… I hope you like this calendar! If you’ve been around for a couple of months or so you’ll recognize these characters, although they’ve dressed up for the holiday season…

So, I drew this owl quite a while ago, and it’s in this post. A couple of weeks ago I started working on an owl calender, so I needed 12 different owls, on for each month. I decided to use this one, but it kind of needed something. I wanted him to look like he was cold (december). This is the result.

Btw, I KNOW that some of you absolutely hate owls, so go ahead and close the window, no need to look at the pictures below (or the coming 11 owls for that matter). I also know that some you LOVE owls, keep looking…

Yes, I admit it. I’m a little (!) obsessed with owls. As the rest of the world obviously. But I might replace the owls with another animal… soon. I’m thinking foxes perhaps?
