Man of many faces

Posted by Caroline in Illustration On January 19th, 2012 - (3 Comments)

My latest Illustration/doodle. Once I put the pen down I have to finish the face… So, here’s the result of doing that 25 times!

I was supposed to post this weeks thursday illustration today, but I haven’t been able to finish it on time. If you want to check out some other thursday illustrators you’ll find them here. I had this one just sitting on my laptop, so that’ll be my post instead.

Inspiration: We<3it

I just spent 5 or maybe 10 minutes on Weheartit, just looking for some inspiration, and here’s a little bit of what I found. I don’t know every artist/illustrator but each picture is properly linked. : )

Christmas Patterns

I played around with the pattern that I used for my gift tags. It’s a lot of fun to play around with different color schemes like this but you might end up spending way too much time on this haha…

Illustration Friday: Sink

Posted by Caroline in Illustration On December 20th, 2011 - (15 Comments)

This weeks topic on Illustration Friday is sink. So there are two ways I could go with this. Either “a sink” or “to sink”. And I chose to illustrate something that eventually will sink… ; )

A little something from me to you. You can download the PDF here or click the image below, and print it at home. You’ll need to print it on card stock OR regular paper and glue it on to some stronger paper/card stock. Use a whole punch and attach to your christmas gifts with string or ribbon. And the background will obviously be completely customizable. I hope you like them!

Illustration Friday: Separated

Posted by Caroline in Illustration On December 15th, 2011 - (2 Comments)

So, I’ve been thinking for a LONG time that I was going to illustrate Illustration Friday’s topic every week, and finally! The topic this week is “separated”. So I made a very simple illustration of this, and this is very personal and close to my heart. It symbolizes how we can be separated by distance, yet love knows no distance. Did anyone of you illustrate this topic? Please leave a comment and a link to what you did, I would love to see it! And if not, perhaps someone would like to do next weeks topic (starting tomorrow…)? Take care!
