Cactus Color Palette

This photo was taken about 2 months ago, in a garden in Balboa Park here in San Diego. Balboa Park is amazing with all the museums, San Diego Zoo, rose garden, cactus garden, all the beautiful buildings, hiking trails… Love it.

This lovely apartment was my friend Linus student apartment. We where classmates, friends and neighbors. Well, we are still friends. Me, Linus and Karin spent a lot of time in that apartment, drinking coffe, drawing, talking, laughing… I sure miss it!

Here is an another palette I made from one of my photos. This photo was taken from the car when my boyfriend and I where driving home to San Diego from a weekend in Orange County/LA. I love the sunset, and how it looks different every single time.

Lazy Day Color

The San Diego weather was awesome today. This was my view for about three hours, relaxing in the sun by the pool. The rest of the day was dedicated to Super Bowl, first time I ever watched it. We had some good food, margarita and beer… It was nice!

I was looking through my photos in iphoto, trying to find some inspiration. And there it was! Hundreds om lovely color palettes in my own photos. I’m hooked, this is what I’ll be spending the next couple of hours on. I guess that the next step will be to turn this into an illustration.
